A Grade II listed flat
The design for this flat included the renovation of a somewhat neglected space, with the brief to include an autumnal palette requiring extensive colour consultancy for each room.
A complete overhaul and the removal of all existing furnishings, the selection of all new window treatments, new electrical reconfigurations for additional lighting, new furnishings and floor coverings transformed the space.
Combination open plan dining room, living room & kitchen
Dining area - the challenge was to create a distinct dining area within an open plan. The purchase of an antique Welsh dresser and small antique English dining table, Ralph Lauren's Burleigh china and comfortable seating, accomplished this.
Living room
Multiple seating and a custom built-in bookcase/entertainment & media centre had to be included. All complimented by Visual Comfort's Venetian chandelier and two Soho Home marble table lamps.
St James Seven Story Grade II Listed Georgian Townhome
The brief was to keep the interiors and furnishings classic in this beautiful home overlooking Birdcage Walk and the Royal park, XXVI. We did this by incorporating a soft colour palette, fabrics, and furnishings that instilled a quiet elegance showcasing the beauty of the architectural details and keeping uppermost the beautiful and very interesting views of St James Park.
The subtle blues and beiges, along with touches of cobalt blue, black, and gold were influenced by the focal artwork in the drawing-room. The gray walls were repainted in off-white to brighten the rooms to create an envelope for this subtle palette.

Entrance room
A framed Hermes scarf was the main source for the color palette.
Designed into the room was a custom Paris sofa & chairs by Decca London upholstered in Stark's Old World Weavers fabric, the "Temple" cocktail table by Barbara Berry, and Stark's Pecola carpet... The chandelier and lamps are by Bella Figura.
Artwork
Photography by Massimo Listri served as an influence on the color palette and design along with the architecture and unique location of this home.
With lighting being such a critical design element, this project was designed with the available natural light a major consideration of the redesign.
Drawing Room
Two Florentine chandeliers with Murano glass
drops and cobalt bluetable lamps from Bella
Figura Lighting anchored and helped bridge the
two rooms
A subtle palette was required so as not to compete
with the view of the Royal Park. Because of the
scale of the room, large custom sofas and chairs
were used, and they were upholstered in Rubelli,
Pierre Frey and Lelievre fabrics.
A custom side chair and bar cart by Officina Inglesa
along with Stark Carpet's Lakota rug and wool curtains
trimmed in Abbott & Boyd's navy silk fabric completed
the room.
Library
Baker's "Paris floor lamp", Decca London's Demi Wing chairs, and William Yeoward's "Eugenie" covered crystal centerpiece and a photographic print by an LA-based cinematic photographer complements the setting.
Dining room
Two abstract works and a photograph by Andrew Holigan over the mantle along with "Cristabel" centerpieces and crystal candlesticks by William Yeoward served as the decorative elements to the custom-designed dining table, sideboard, and window cabinets by Decca London. The curtains are in a Romo fabric.
Kitchen
A beautifully relandscaped garden by Abel Gardeners looking onto St. James Park is the view from the kitchen which includes custom furniture by Officina Inglesa, insulated curtain fabric by Creation Bauman, and bespoke lamps by Rosanna Lonsdale

An Elegant Condominium in a Luxury Highrise
The brief was to update an already beautiful interior on the 18th floor of a highly desirable
building and location. The majority of the furnishings were already in place, so the redesign
was to incorporate a new color palette to enhance the existing furnishings, rugs, and artwork
with a few beautiful new seating pieces, fabrics, and window treatments.
Living room
The addition of Fortuny, Schumacher,
and Zimmer-Rhode's fabrics with Wm
Yeoward crystal compliment the
rugs and artwork

The Den
A Ralph Lauren table lamp, a beautiful Hickory Chair sofa and chair upholstered in Schumacher's
Palermo velvet and Dedar's Arbus
twill pulled it all together...

The Office
The replacement of fabrics on the seating pieces and
the addition of a new sofa, desk lighting, window treatments, and pillows transformed this workspace.
We used Glant's Couture Pique and Napoli from The Porta via Collection, Schumacher's Antique linen velvet, and Greek Key tape to repeat Jim Thompson's Apollon fabric pattern on the pillows.

Grade II Listed CountryTownhouse
The brief was to design the living, dining/garden rooms interiors retaining the integrity of the historic details. A fireplace was installed which served as a focal point along with a much-needed heating element since three radiators in the living room were removed so as to free up the wall space allowing furnishings to be placed in front of them. A bookcase was custom designed to house books, audio and video elements, hidden in drawers, as well as a screen.
Most of the artwork was selected from the artists represented through the Naomi Silva Gallery.

I am delighted with the stunning home that Naomi has created for me. She has been the consummate professional throughout the entire process, showing expertise, creative flair and astonishing attention to detail.
Naomi thoroughly and meticulously co-ordinated all aspects of my apartment’s transformation from design brief to organising and supervising furniture delivery, painting and electrical work. She consulted and advised
me at every stage and I acknowledge her skill at consistently listening for creative possibility. Naomi has created a warm and atmospheric space with tasteful Autumnal colours and has combined this with an excellent
selection of the highest quality furniture at affordable cost. She has created a luxurious home which has exceeded all of my highest expectations.

Naomi Silva is a master of her craft. My pretty home was turned into an art form and a very comfortable one. Naomi believes rooms are for living not just display. She used colors from the art and rugs I love most to
weave the rooms into a harmonious and classic beauty. Now, people always stop and say this is very beautiful at first glance, and sometimes their second and third glances. I feel that way every day.

Naomi Silva of Naomi Silva Interior Design has done a superb job redecorating the open floor-plan family room of a house my husband and I recently purchased; we highly recommend her. The design is beautiful,
and we are thrilled with it, and Naomi was great to work with. Naomi was able to incorporate the furnishings I already had into the overall design by having window covering made with fabric in colors, style, and
pattern scale complimentary to my mission style furnishings, beautifully made throw pillows, a reupholstered bench, and paint. The paint colors and finishes Naomi chose for the walls, trim, ceilings, and woodwork
(which had previously been stained, but the color didn’t go with my furniture), are gorgeous, provide just the right amount of contrast, and create a calm, lovely, light space. Naomi chose an accent wall paper for the
kitchen table area that ties everything together seamlessly. The light fixtures she recommended are perfect.
Naomi made and sent mood boards so that we could better visualize what the room would look like, and she gave us options from which to choose – everything was beautiful, and choosing wasn’t so easy (a good thing)! The mood boards included swatches of fabrics, large samples of paint colors, the actual wall papers, pictures of light fixtures, and even details like samples of trim for the window coverings and piping for the pillows. Those boards were very helpful in deciding which options we liked best, and it was nice to be able to feel the cloth and see the exact colors of everything. All products are top quality.
Communication was great and easy, especially as we are separated by an ocean and five hours’ time difference. We communicated by email, phone, and the postal service. Naomi was always prompt in answering my emails, kept me up to date, and was always clear and easy to understand. She did all of the ordering and coordination of fabrics, the fabricating of the window coverings, and the wall paper.
We love the finished project and love spending time in our beautiful home. Naomi made this an easy, smooth process for us. It was truly a pleasure working with her.

Naomi’s experience and expertise was invaluable for helping me choose paint colours for my home. Not only this, but Naomi created a ‘mood board’ to help me envisage co-ordinating lighting and furnishings which really helped me imagine what could be achieved.
Naomi attended regularly to ensure the paint shades worked as we had anticipated, and she came to view once all the work was complete to assess the outcome. I could never have created the look that I have without her guidance and experience.
