Naomi was an enormous help in coordinating and designing my flat in Notting Hill. She listened to my vision and was great in suggesting styles/pieces that would fit my aesthetic. As someone with a very limited amount of free time, it was great to have support in the general arrangement of the project - with Naomi arranging carpentry, electrics, and wider furnishings. She was further helpful in proposing and acquiring art for the flat, including arranging its framing and mounting. Highly recommend Naomi for any project.

Naomi Silva of Naomi Silva Interior Design has done a superb job redecorating the open floor-plan family room of a house my husband and I recently purchased; we highly recommend her. The design is beautiful, and we are thrilled with it.  Naomi was great to work with. Naomi was able to incorporate the furnishings I already had into the overall design by having window coverings made with fabric in colors, style, and pattern scale complimentary to my mission-style furnishings, beautifully made throw pillows, a reupholstered bench, and paint. The paint colors and finishes Naomi chose for the walls, trim, ceilings, and woodwork (which had previously been stained, but the color didn’t go with my furniture) are gorgeous, provide just the right amount of contrast, and create a calm, lovely, light space. Naomi chose an accent wallpaper for the kitchen table area that ties everything together seamlessly. The light fixtures she recommended are perfect.

Naomi made and sent mood boards so that we could better visualize what the room would look like, and she gave us options from which to choose.  Everything was beautiful, and choosing wasn’t so easy (a good thing)! The mood boards included swatches of fabrics, large samples of paint colors, the actual wall papers, pictures of light fixtures, and even details like samples of trim for the window coverings and piping for the pillows. Those boards were very helpful in deciding which options we liked best, and it was nice to be able to feel the cloth and see the exact colors of everything. All products are top quality.

Communication was great and easy, especially as we are separated by an ocean and five hours’ time difference. We communicated by email, phone, and the postal service. Naomi was always prompt in answering my emails, kept me up to date, and was always clear and easy to understand. She did all of the ordering and coordination of fabrics, the fabricating of the window coverings, and the wallpaper.

We love the finished project and love spending time in our beautiful home. Naomi made this an easy, smooth process for us. It was truly a pleasure working with her.

Naomi’s experience and expertise were invaluable in helping me choose paint colours for my home. Not only this, but Naomi created a ‘mood board’ to help me envisage coordinating lighting and furnishings, which helped me imagine what could be achieved.

Naomi attended regularly to ensure the paint shades worked as we had anticipated. Once all the work was complete, she came to assess the outcome. Without her guidance and experience, I could never have created the look I have.
